Stars in her eye(liner): Incredible make-up artist transforms herself into a Who’s Who of celebrities - from Einstein to Michael Jackson
'It is so much fun and I get so excited thinking about which one I'm going to do next.
'My favourite was Albert Einstein. I just couldn't believe how different I looked when I finished.
'Thankfully, it doesn't really cost me anything. It is all basic things from my make-up bag. I guess it helps working at a cosmetics company!'
Each character is fleeting - after the photo is taken the make-up is removed forever. But that doesn't stop Carly spending hours perfecting it.
Carly, 26, started playing around with special effects make-up in her spare time in October last year.
She wanted to learn zombie face paint in her bid to get a job in film.

But it turns out she had a knack for it. And once she started, she found it difficult to stop.
Carly, who works by day at Sephora Cosmetics in Montreal, said: 'I am still learning and still practising. I don't like wearing much make-up normally, but I really got into this.
She said: 'I spend a while studying at least three different shots of someone. One for their face shape, one for their make-up or style, and one for their expression. Kim Kardashian's expression was really funny to try to perfect.'

Perhaps she should pass on her knowledge to Kim Kardashian...
But, despite her best intentions, not all of her work turns out the way she wants them. She admitted: 'Some are really difficult, especially if I have to paint detail on my eyes or if my face shape is different.
'Still, once I've decided on one, I spend ages trying to get it right. It is rare that I give up on one like that.'
Carly doesn't get her talent from the ground. She was brought up in an artistic household, with an actress for a mum and a musician for a dad.
Indeed, it is this creative upbringing that pointed Carly in the direction of the movie industry.
But by the time she graduated from Concordia film school, three years ago, she had other plans.
She said: 'I was intrigued by make-up but wasn't sure. More importantly I'm not trained. So I just got a job and started playing around.
'My arty home has been useful - we have a lot of wigs around, and my family friend owns a costume warehouse, which comes in handy.'
